LANSING, Mich. (WILX) — The MotorCities National Heritage Area, in collaboration with Choose Lansing, has unveiled a fresh automotive heritage tour for the Lansing region.
The schedule is called "A Day in the Motor Cities." The aim is to boost tourism in regions historically significant for the automobile sector.
We're delighted and thrilled to welcome Choose Lansing as the inaugural destination under our 'A Day in the MotorCities' initiative," stated Shawn Pomaville-Size, the executive director of MotorCities. "Fostering tourism within our 16-county National Heritage Area is central to what we do, and offering curated itineraries crafted by local experts ensures smoother travels for visitors!
The MotorCities National Heritage Area, based in Detroit, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to highlighting Michigan’s automotive heritage and boosting tourism.
