
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Fred Beans Automotive Group This year marked a significant achievement as they celebrated their 50th anniversary since starting operations in 1975. The company started out as one car lot in Doylestown and has expanded over time to encompass 30 different sites today. Despite this growth, the initial dealership still stands at the core of the enterprise; it’s here that founder and CEO Fred Beans keeps his workspace and personally interacts with clients.
During a recent visit to Fred Beans Ford of Doylestown, Ford Motor Company acknowledged this milestone with Andrew Frick, president of Ford Blue and Model e, leading the event. A commemorative 50th-anniversary plaque was presented to celebrate Beans' dedication. "The spirit of Ford runs through Fred," remarked Frick, commending Beans for overcoming challenges typical for pioneering entrepreneurs. He emphasized that Fred Beans Automotive Group stands out among the most esteemed dealership networks and mentioned Beans' recognition in the Ford Top Volume Dealer Hall of Fame back in 2022.
Thinking about his company’s achievements, Beans conveyed his appreciation and core beliefs. "My aim was to create an excellent dealership when I arrived," he stated. "Part of my approach involved regarding clients as acquaintances since people tend to support those they know." Additionally,Beans highlighted his dedication to the brand, mentioning, "All that I possess and all that I’ve achieved... has been due to beginning with Ford, which is likely why I feel such strong allegiance to Ford."
Based on that vision, the business has grown considerably, encompassing eight Ford dealerships across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Additionally, they run a prominent Parts Distribution Center (PDC), which regularly places among the nation’s premier suppliers of Ford OEM parts. While visiting, Frick accompanied Beans in touring this distribution center and engaged in conversations with general managers at their various Ford dealerships about mutual achievements.
Over the last fifty years, Fred Beans Automotive Group has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to excellence, social responsibility, and forward-thinking practices. In the future, this group intends to expand upon its established heritage, maintaining the same level of devotion to customer service that characterized their initial half-century.
