BMW Reveals 5 Ultra-Rare Performer Models, Celebrating a Landmark with Korea

To celebrate its 30-year milestone in South Korea, BMW has released five exclusive high-performance models, with each edition being limited to only 10-20 vehicles. This news has stirred excitement within the car industry.

These exclusive editions can be obtained solely via an online purchase and distinguish themselves from regular versions through unique color options, interior designs, and enhanced performance features.

Striking Design, Beastly Performance

At the forefront is the BMW M4 Competition M xDrive Convertible Chalk Edition. Equipped with a powerful 530-horsepower engine, this car accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in only 3.7 seconds. Its design features a chalk-colored body, a silver-effect convertible roof, along with dual-toned leather interiors, merging aesthetics and speed seamlessly.

The carefully designed layout, encompassing both interior and exterior, is guaranteed to attract attention. Just 10 units will be manufactured, with each unit priced at approximately 148.7 million KRW (around 106,552 USD).

Coming up next is the M440i xDrive Convertible Pro Grazio Telesto Edition, distinguished by its graceful lines and an impressive Telesto Grey exterior. This edition delivers 392 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. It’s produced in only 10 units and has a price point of 127 million KRW (around $91,009 USD).

The BMW Z4 M40i receives special attention as well. Dressed in an eye-catching Frozen Deep Green matte exterior, this powerful vehicle produces 387 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in only 4.1 seconds.

The cabin features opulent ivory-white seating. Just 10 units will be produced, each priced at 120 million KRW (roughly 86,039 USD).

Where Aesthetics Meets Technology

The M440i xDrive Frozen Presiona Red Edition is a coupe model that turns heads with its striking red finish. This distinctive shade, produced through BMW Individual paint technology, is available exclusively in this special limited edition.

Boasting 392 horsepower and capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, this version includes a 48-volt mild hybrid system for peak performance and efficiency. The design highlights include M-specific elements both inside and out, priced at approximately 127 million KRW (around $91,009 USD).

Completing the series is the M340i Pro Frozen Brooklyn Gray Edition, a top-tier model derived from the 3 Series. As suggested by its title, this vehicle boasts a sophisticated Brooklyn Gray exterior, enhanced with carbon fiber accents, M-branded seat belts, and an anthracite headlining for a luxurious cabin atmosphere.

This version boasts 392 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. It is a limited edition comprising only 20 units with each one priced at 88.3 million KRW, which converts to roughly 63,267 USD.

BMW's Leadership in the Luxury Import Car Sector

As reported by the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association (KAIDA), BMW sold 25,322 cars in South Korea between January and April 2025, representing a rise of 11.5% compared to the same period last year. Alongside Mercedes-Benz, these two German manufacturers hold a combined 55.3% share of South Korea’s imported vehicle market.
