GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) — Construction for a new house is set to begin on Zora Street in Greenville as part of the 13th annual CEO Build organized by Habitat Greenville.
The ceremony kicked off on Wednesday as business leaders along with those from the Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County finished building a symbolic wall together.

LaTonya Phillips, who serves as the President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity in Greenville County, stated, "The individuals present today recognize the importance of accessible housing options in Greenville." She added, "These supporters have committed themselves to our cause; however, we urge more people to join them in taking this commitment."
Every year, this initiative assists in making homeownership achievable for one household.
The 2025 construction project includes CEOs such as Dan Russian from Sage Automotive Interiors, Chris Heard at Safe Automotive Interiors, Chris Bailey who works with the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors, David Lominack from TD Bank, Hank McCullough representing Piedmont Natural Gas, Stephen Davis affiliated with Davis & Floyd, Dr. Keith Miller from Greenville Technical College, Phil Howard of Ethox Chemicals, John Boyanoski of Complete PR, Randy Hunter from Terminix, Tim Vieira for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits team, and Heather Meadors connected to Auro Hotel.

Once again, the business community in Greenville is joining forces to contribute towards the creation of more affordable homes within the city," Phillips added. "Every year presents a fresh chance to bolster our community, and their assistance is remarkable.
In addition to volunteer hours, CEOs commit corporate funds to assist in building homes. Executives collaborate alongside their teams, local volunteers, and upcoming Habitat for Humanity families throughout the construction process onsite.
Authorities stated that the construction should be finished by early September 2025.
